What will be your role?

Introduction
Are you passionate about advancing drug development through innovative technology? Join our unique research team and make a significant impact!
The Metabolic Health Research (MHR) department supports the efficient development of drugs and health interventions by creating tools, technology, and models that facilitate research at every stage of the development pipeline. From target discovery to preclinical/clinical efficacy analysis, advanced analytics, pharmacokinetics, and large-scale biologics production, we collaborate with pharmaceutical and nutritional industries and numerous academic partners to drive innovation.

Within the Advanced Bioanalytics team, we develop cutting-edge analytical techniques and methods for analyzing pre-clinical and clinical samples from drug development studies. Our microtracer and microdosing technology is so sensitive that it only requires minimal tracer doses, posing no risk to human health, even for small children. This enables pharmaceutical companies to use microtracers in early research stages, gathering crucial data on pharmacokinetics and drug efficacy.

The role
We are seeking a scientist to develop new technical solutions for analyzing novel drug types (biologicals). Collaborating with project managers, scientists, technical staff, and external partners, you will:

  • Develop and demonstrate new technical solutions in clinical studies.
  • Design experiments, create project plans, and compile project reports.
  • Lead technicians in various projects.
  • Write grant and project proposals for industrial collaborators.
  • Contribute to publishing our research findings.
  • Communicate directly with internal and external sponsors and clinical research organizations.
  • The team
Join our dynamic Advanced Analytics team, part of the Metabolic Health Research department. We are an international group of approximately 10 technicians, scientists, and project managers, and we are growing. We value openness, customer orientation, mutual support, and having fun together. Our state-of-the-art lab facilities include three accelerator mass spectrometry systems, three high resolution mass spectrometers, and several UPLC systems, with more to come. At TNO, we offer various personal and technical development opportunities, including courses, on-the-job training, and conference participation.

    What we expect from you
