About the role

Team.blue is looking for an experienced and commercially oriented SaaS pricing and packaging lead to drive the central pricing function. You will conduct high-impact pricing & packaging projects across a wide range of SaaS companies, and help provide group-wide visibility on price performance.

This role will report to the head of commercial service centre but will naturally involve working closely with senior leaders across a broad range of functions, as well as creating relationships with the commercial teams of the different brands.

You will need to be both a strategic thinker & analytical with excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and implement competitive, value-based, B2B subscription pricing & packaging propositions working closely with the relevant stakeholders within the group.
  • Identify pricing and packaging opportunities across our portfolio of SaaS brands taking into account market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs.
  • Define potential impact, outcome and risk of pricing initiatives.
  • Work with local teams to make sure the project is implemented according to defined roadmap.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on pricing performance to leadership team and raise any risk, concerns or highlights.
  • Build and manage the infrastructure and processes to scale the pricing capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Bachelor’s degree from top university, with a strong academic background. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in designing and implementing pricing strategies in a B2B software environment. Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Experience in subscription / service / SaaS pricing.
  • Ability to build clear value based customer pricing propositions.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable working with diverse and complex data sources. Advanced excel skills.
  • Autonomous and willing to do hands-on work.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work at pace and under the pressure associated with fast growing SaaS companies.
