You will: /p ul liDesign and fabricate micro‑ and nanofluidic structures using lithography at Leiden’s cleanroom and the national Nanolab facility at Delft University of Technology. /li liPerform sensitive electrical measurements to probe electronic and ionic charge transport in these structures. /li liAnalyze and interpret results, including quantitative simulations when required. /li /ul h3Where You Will Work /h3 pLeiden Institute for Research in Physics (LION) at Leiden University. The position is part of the Advanced Nano‑Electrochemistry Institute of the Netherlands (ANION) program. /p h3What You Bring /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in physics, physical chemistry, or closely related disciplines (or expected to obtain it). /li liExcellent experimental skills with an interest in microfabrication. /li liStrong abilities in theory and modelling. /li liEnthusiastic, highly motivated, creative mindset. /li liExcellent analytical and communication skills. /li liTeam spirit and openness to interdisciplinary, international environment. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liFull-time 1‑year term position with possible extension of 3 years after positive evaluation. /li liStarting salary of €3 059,00 per month (full‑time, €); pay scale P0. /li liHoliday allowance (8 %), end‑of‑year bonus (8.3 %), pension scheme at ABP. /li liFull reimbursement of public transport commuting costs. /li liFlexible working hours and minimum of 29 leave days per year (full‑time).
