Structures Assembly Technician – Panels & Cones (Aerospace Manufacturing)
Join a high‑precision aerospace manufacturing environment where large structural components for launch systems are built with exceptional accuracy. In this role, you will assemble aluminium rocket structures, perform extensive drilling operations, and work with large molds and fixtures to build cylindrical and conical sections used in space‑flight hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble large aluminium panels and conical structures with aerospace‑grade precision.
- Perform extensive drilling operations on metal structures and components.
- Work with large molds, jigs, and fixtures for positioning and alignment.
- Handle and position heavy components safely and accurately.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with strict tolerances.
Profile
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in mechanical or structural assembly.
- Strong background working with aluminium structures and precision drilling.
- Experience handling large assemblies and performing physically demanding work.
- Skilled in reading technical drawings and following precise instructions.
- Aerospace, aircraft assembly, defence, or high‑tech manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- No degree required.
