Overview
In this role you support legal and governance services for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring regulatory alignment and risk controls. You will translate policy needs into actionable processes and contribute to risk assessments within a compliance-focused team. You’ll build broad stakeholder relationships and help drive training and awareness across the organization. This is a chance to shape governance practices in a global, trusted financial ecosystem, while working with cross-functional colleagues to meet tight deadlines.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide independent specialist support on legal and governance tools within guidelines
- Identify and assess risk impacts, propose mitigations, participate in risk assessments
- Execute legal/compliance activities across public affairs, regulatory affairs, board matters per policies
- Draft and improve policies and procedures within scope
- Develop and maintain stakeholder contacts to understand company needs
- Provide horizontal training and awareness
- Deliver projects within defined budgets and deadlines, collaborating with other specialists
- Coordinate maintenance of Legal department documentation and areas of expertise
- Support less experienced colleagues as a back-up
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Academic degree in law and/or business administration (preferably in compliance or legal)
- At least 5 years of related working experience
- Familiar with financial supervisory frameworks, Compliance / KYC processes
- Knowledge of financial markets and Swift’s role and products is a plus
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication with stakeholders
- Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
- Experience with compliance tools and software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, PEGA, Confluence, JIRA) is an advantage
