Inventory & Logistics Support Associate – Leiden

Full‑time | International Environment | Hands‑On Role

Avantor is currently looking for a motivated and hands‑on Inventory & Logistics Support Associate to join our team in Leiden. If you’ve always wanted to work in an international environment, enjoy practical work , this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will be responsible for tasks such as:

  • Review daily inventory and resolve supply chain or planning issues quickly.

  • Ensure material schedules are accurate and production orders are complete.

  • Perform routine cycle counts and coordinate with the distribution team.

  • Communicate with suppliers for delivery confirmations.

  • Conduct internal and vendor stock checks.

  • Resolve issues such as expiry dates, shipment errors and replacements.

  • Support purchasing with forecasting and stock planning.

  • Help solve material or capacity issues to ensure on‑time delivery.

  • What We’re Looking For

    Experience:

  • High school completion or equivalent (GED)

  • 3-5 years working in warehouse or inventory control related field

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication in English (Dutch is a plus)

  • Valid driver’s licence (Category B) – mandatory

  • Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a structured way

  • Outgoing, reliable, and hands-on mentality

  • Additional Requirements

  • Occasional weekend work (approximately one weekend every six weeks)

  • Compensatory days off provided during the week

  • Weekend shifts include a shift allowance

  • Minimal physical effort required; occasional walking, standing, bending and lifting items under 10 lbs.
