As the Financial Reporting Accountant III, you will have a key role in our day-to-day financial operations. Your strong analytical skills will help you convert operational information into precise and error-free financial figures. Your main responsibilities will include conducting month-end closing activities, overseeing general ledger accounts, and ensuring the accurate reconciliation of GL accounts.

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain the financial records of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, reconcile GL accounts, such as bank, prepayments, receivables, accruals, fixed assets, and operational lease.
  • Issue sales and intercompany recharge invoices.
  • Run foreign currency payment to 3rd parties.
  • Lead intercompany activities and payment netting.
  • Collaborate with accounts payable administrator on 4-eye controlling of vendor master data, invoice booking, payment run, and VAT declaration.
  • Update WKR document and personnel cost.
  • Submit data for CBS questionnaire within the timeline.
  • Support Finance Manager with governmental grant submission, statutory financial reporting, auditor’s request and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Requirement:

    Minimum of 4 years of extensive general ledger accounts experience in a similar role in the Dutch environment, preferably within multinational organizations. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Proven track record of collaborating with auditors and statutory financial reporting are preferred. Knowledge of Dutch GAAP, US GAAP, Exact Globe, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, and Blackline is a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch. Energetic individual who is proactive, accurate, and attention to detail.
