The Finance Manager that we are looking for will report directly to the Global CFO and will be responsible for the financial site leadership of our client’s Dutch office. Salaris en aantal uur per week Salary: Between €5.000,- and €6.000,- gross, depending on experience. 40 hours per week Start: As soon as possible Over de functie The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and will have the opportunity to shape this role. Whilst building strong relationships with local and international stakeholders, the successful candidate will focus on the continuous improvement of the Finance function. The position will support the General Management of the Dutch office, and also play an important role in the future development of the sites. Key responsibilities: Management of the financial and accounting activities across both sites in The Netherlands; Financial Planning Analysis, including Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting for local and global stakeholders; Providing financial direction, support and guidance to all key stakeholders; Monthly Management Accounts to tight deadlines, within group guidelines; Year-end full financial accounts preparation; Liaising with auditors and Tax advisors, including Tax Management and Compliance; File quarterly VAT returns; Responsibility for Banking activities across the Netherlands sites; Manage Budget and forecast processes for finance across multiple sites; Working with the group leadership team to update cashflow information and provide rolling 6 month forecasts; Maintenance of Fixed Assets, Prepayments, Accruals, Intercompany Reconciliations; Work with newly introduced Oracle system. Skills, knowledge & experience: BSc or MSc level finance/accounting background or equivalent; Minimum of 3 years progressive financial management experience; Strong analytical, numerical and organizational skills; Ability to build strong financial management, manage own workload and ensure deadlines are met; Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels within the organization; Fluent English and intermediate Dutch language skills; Excellent knowledge of Excel, experience with Oracle Financial Services software is a plus; Solution-oriented & creative problem-solver with a high degree of pro activity and a hands-on mentality What’s in it for you: Great work environment in a fast-growing business; International employer with diverse group of colleagues & great team spirit; Opportunity to shape the Finance function.
