For our bioinformatics department, we are looking for candidates for the position of:
BIOINFORMATICIAN LEAD
(32-40 hours per week)
Job:
Data analysis for commercial projects is done within the bioinformatics team. These projects are either standardized, using our in-house optimized pipelines to perform mass analyses, or customized, where a novel approach to the data-analyses needs to be thought out and performed. Besides, the bioinformatics team is also responsible for maintenance of our internal (meta)genomics and transcriptomics pipelines and databases and for the set-up of new products together with our Product Development team.
In this role, you will be part of the bioinformatics team. As a lead, your focus will lie mostly with novel projects, analysing and reporting customized commercial requests and setting up new services for us to offer to our clients. The work is very varied due to the different nature of our commercial projects and the wide range of products we offer.
