Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the HR Business Partner role is to serve as a pivotal link between the business strategy, -plan and execution from a people and organizational perspective. This role is crucial for driving the company’s short- and long-term success by ensuring that people and organizational practices and initiatives are effectively planned, managed, and executed. The Strategic HR Business Partner will work closely with senior leadership and various stakeholders.

This role requires a proactive and innovative HR professional who can drive HR practices and initiatives to support the company’s objectives.
Overall, the HR Business Partner represents the overall HR Function in the allocated part of the organization and represents that part of the organization in the HR Function. The HR BP is part of the Global HR Leadership Team. This team is collectively responsible for HR at Pharming, including the HR Agenda, HR Execution and the HR employees.

Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to deliver on the business strategy and plan.
  • Partner with leadership to align initiatives, focusing on organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive HR initiatives and support business needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people and organizational matters.
  • Talent Management and Development:

  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives to attract and retain top talent globally.
  • Oversee talent development programs, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations programs and practices.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Ensure HR practices comply with international labor laws and regulations.
  • Oversee together with the HR Operations Lead, HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Organizational Development:

  • Drive organizational change initiatives to support business growth and innovation.
  • Implement structures and processes that improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Work within HR Leadership Team

  • Define overall Pharming HR Agenda
  • Jointly drive execution together with Functional Specialists
  • Take co-responsibility for all HR (-people) within Pharming
  • Your profile:

  • Extensive experience (8-10+ years) in human resources, with a focus on strategic HR management.
  • Fluency in Dutch, and English
  • Proven track record in an international HR role, 
  • Good understanding of global HR practices and various aspects of labor laws.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing HR structures and processes to support business strategy.
