Who you are

To be successful in this role, you have a strong knowledge of the finance and accounting processes, cost drivers and effective leveraging of service delivery and the commercial consequences of technical decisions.

You have formal qualifications in finance, accounting, or Information technology. You have a minimum of 5 years of progressive and diverse working experience in the financial domain driving technology transformation, requirement management and leading different digital initiatives.

You have a strong ability to capture, interpret and translate business requirements in IT solutions. You provide input based on new ideas, approaches and strategies combined with an ability to adapt to the fast-moving technology landscape.

Proven experience as a business analyst in finance and accounting domain

Good understanding of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting etc.

Good understanding of the digital solutions supporting financial and accounting processes such as MS Dynamics or SAP Hana

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and requirements management tools.

Understanding of industry best practices in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation.

Proficiency in analyzing complex business processes, identifying pain points, and proposing solutions that align with business objectives.

Understanding information technology concepts, systems, and terminology to effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Capability to develop and execute test plans to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create clear and comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and process documentation to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

In this role you will provide high quality input and secure a relevant strategy and roadmap for the area based on user needs, latest technologies and best practices. Your main responsibilities will be to:

Perform planning, analysis, requirements definition, functional/technical design, testing and implementation of relevant technology/platform.

Develop understanding and knowledge of existing financial solutions, processes and tools within IKEAs technology-process-delivery ecosystem and weigh various options to make design and develop holistic solutions.

Create, maintain, and promote the digital roadmap for your area based on organizational strategy

Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms that can be used to implement the proposed solutions. Consider factors such as cost, scalability, security, and compatibility with existing systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to solution development.

Engage and work closely with stakeholders, including SMEs, Solution and technical architects, project managers, and end-users, to gather and understand the requirements and challenges.

In this role you will report to the INGKA Investments Digital Technology Manager.
