Your opportunity

The team.blue group grows significantly through M&A, acquiring high-growth SaaS businesses across Europe. The Portfolio Manager will be part of the SaaS Portfolio team and be responsible for up to 5 acquired companies. Responsibilities include sign-off on new M&A investments, facilitate the post-merger integration, co-define and oversee the strategy, value creation plan and business plan alongside founders and senior leadership and be overall accountable for performance towards team.blue group.

Key responsibilities:

  • New M&A investments sign-off and validation Oversee and drive commercial due diligence, ensure in-depth analysis of data to derive financial and commercial assumptions to be used in investment case and sign-off investment thesis, business case, value creation and integration plan before presentation to M&A board.
  • Post Merger Integration FacilitationFacilitate commercial integration into group standards in the months post-acquisition, supported by a dedicated post-merger integration team.
  • Overall strategic lead Be the key contact person between team.blue group and the new businesses, co-defining the strategy, value creation plan, key projects, budget and performance tracking together with senior leaders of acquired companies.
  • Commercial lead Monitor execution of commercials, customer acquisition and pricing. Co-define the cross-sell strategy and steer execution supported by our dedicated cross-sell team. Overall accountable and report to team.blue shareholders and board of directors on the overall performance of acquired businesses.
  • Coordinator of functional support Co-define and manage the involvement of the several functional teams of experts across team.blue in supporting the growth of the acquired brands.
  • Advisory and coaching Advise and coach the founders and/or senior leadership of the acquired companies to integrate and grow within team.blue group, manage senior leadership succession when relevant.


  • Bachelor degree.
  • Operational P&L responsibility as business unit lead / GM / Director.
  • Experience of data-driven businesses with clear focus on results delivery.
  • Preferred experience in SaaS and team.blue business lines and related drivers.
  • Preferred experience in management or strategy consulting / investment banking / private equity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
