A leading global biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Material Handler to join its state-of-the-art Cell Therapy manufacturing facility located in the Leiden. You will join a dynamic and motivated Materials Management and Supply Chain team, playing a key role in supporting production operations through efficient handling and movement of materials in compliance with GMP standards. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to life-changing therapies in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
On-site position: 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities
- Execute internal and external temperature-controlled material requests across multiple unit operations under cleanroom conditions.
- Complete required (electronic) documentation in accordance with process transfer protocols, standard operating procedures, and batch records.
- Respond to system and equipment alarms during and outside office hours as part of a rotating schedule.
- Support setup and qualification of warehouse operations, equipment, and fixtures.
- Perform all activities in line with safety policies, quality systems, and GMP regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate material movement to support manufacturing operations.
- Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and material reconciliation.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant education or experience in Science, Facilities, or Engineering at VMBO / MBO level.
- Prior experience working in a GMP-regulated warehouse or production environment
- Understanding of materials management processes, including receiving, storage, and inventory control.
- Experience with cold chain logistics and handling temperature-sensitive materials is an advantage
- Skilled in the use of manual or electric material handling equipment
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including on-call and weekend hours as required.
