Job Role: HR Employee Relations Professional

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Employee Relations Professional to join our Employee and Labour Relations (ERLR) team in The Netherlands. This role focuses on managing employee-related issues, grievance handling, performance management, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and local regulations. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, support HR processes, and contribute to a positive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide guidance on a variety of employee-related issues and inquiries.
  • Handle grievance cases, corrective actions, and disciplinary management.
  • Identify early performance issues and coordinate the Performance Management Process.
  • Provide advisory support and documentation to managers and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure alignment on processes and day-to-day practices.
  • Interpret policies and practices to determine whether violations occurred.
  • Investigate issues and propose solutions or elevate as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support employees in using self‑service tools and HR systems effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, company policies, and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functional domains: Employee Relations, HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Workforce Data Administration, HR Business Partnering, Organization Management.
  • Excellent advisory, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex employee issues.
  • Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, Psychology, Business, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in HR, employee relations, or labour law.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures.
