You will join the Sodexo cleaning team. You will work alongside approximately 36 fellow cleaners, 2 supervisors, and 1 team lead. Respect, a safe working environment, and being there for each other are central within this team.

Are you naturally detail-oriented and do like that everything is sparkle and shiny? Do you like working but also want to have enough time for your personal life? Great, then you are a good fit for this cleaning team at Sodexo. You, along with your team, are responsible for cleaning office spaces, outdoor areas, performing periodic cleaning tasks, restrooms, and other spaces. This will be in the newest building at the Bio Science Park in Leiden (Johnson & Johnson).
You will perform the following tasks, among others:
- General cleaning, including disinfecting, mopping, and keeping toilets, hallways, and office spaces clean.
- Periodic cleaning tasks, such as cleaning ceilings and scrubbing floors (once a month).
- Keeping track of your performed tasks and administration, including logbooks.
No cleaning experience? No problem. Sodexo provides the right training and education to master the profession completely. Additionally, you will be trained in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) procedures and how to follow instructions and rules during your work.
Job Requirements
You are a proactive person. You love cleaning things in the best possible way. Additionally, you don’t mind working according to instructions and rules, and you are naturally meticulous.
You also bring the following:
- You are proactive and can work well independently.
- Flexible availability from Monday to Friday and on holidays between 06:00 and 14:00.
- You possess the CSC (Cleanroom Cleaning Course) certificate or are willing to obtain it.
- Preferably, you live in Leiden or the immediate vicinity.
Salary and Benefits
- A contract with guaranteed hours from a minimum of 20 hours to a maximum of 38 hours per week.
- A salary between €14,15 and €15,45 gross per hour.
- Working hours between 06:00 and 14:00.
- 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment).
- Additionally, you receive a pension scheme and a discount on health insurance.
